Chief Enterprise Architect
As a Chief Enterprise Architect, you have a pivotal role in shaping the future of our enterprise architecture. As part of the core group in charge of improving the business scalability and enabling future growth, you would be defining the comprehensive future state of the architecture that tightly aligns internal operations across all functions from sales to support and finance.
In this position, your primary focus will be evaluating the company's enterprise architecture, specifically from a system selection perspective. In collaboration with units, you define the data architecture across different systems and ensure, that technical integrations create a seamless end-to-end process that follows the real-world processes of the company. An important aspect of this role is also to guard the business process development to avoid sub-optimizing by ensuring that we always look at the overall effectiveness and fit-for-purpose of the business and enterprise architecture across all functions.

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you have deep experience in designing holistic company-wide enterprise architecture, especially focusing on end-to-end integration, data flows, and data architecture across functions, as well as executing changes to evolve the architecture over time. You have good business acumen which helps you to separate the essential business processes from supportive business processes. You thrive when finding best-fit solutions in collaboration with different functions, and you fluently navigate the organization to find the best subject matter experts. We expect that you are competent with vendor and commercial off-the-shelf solution evaluation, especially in the domains of sales, professional services, support, and finance.
Ideally, you would be highly interested in deepening or already skilled in how to build a best-in-class SaaS platform covering backend business solutions and integrations to the customer-facing services we are developing.
- 5+ years experience as an enterprise architect
- In-depth knowledge of key architecture domains: infrastructure architecture (on-premise and cloud architectures), integration architecture (including integration platforms), data architecture (modeling and data management), application architecture, security architecture
- Proficiency in using established enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or others to develop and communicate architectural plans
- Proficiency in documenting current and target state architecture
- Experience in project management practices, familiarity with project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and strong presentation skills to articulate architectural plans and strategies.
