You’ll be responsible for proactively driving sales of future cruises through promoting our destinations, science program, environmental initiatives as well as our loyalty program to our guests. Your role will be to participate in onboard events and activities to support the wider hotel operation team to ensure active engagement with our guests.

Skills & Requirements

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Drive future sales of cruises by promoting our destinations, product, loyalty program, cabin upgrades, and excursions to guests.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Deliver engaging and informative presentations to drive sales revenue
  • Collect and analyse data on sales performance, guest feedback, and market trends to inform sales and marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
  • Participate in onboard events and activities to engage with guests and promote our offerings.
  • Work closely with crew and other relevant personnel to ensure seamless guest experiences and drive revenue growth.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales or customer service role within cruise / maritime industry.
  • Prior demonstrable experience of Onboard Sales
  • Language Skills: Candidates must be fluent in both English and German. Proficiency in additional languages would be a strong asset.

  • STCW certification and seafarer medical requirements are necessary.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a positive guest experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
