Job title: Publishing Operations Administrator

Reports to: Publishing Operations Team Leader
Location: Sywell, Northampton
Working pattern: Part time, 20 hours per week over 5 days with flexible home working up to three days per week

Due to business growth, we have a rare opportunity to join our Publishing Operations Team (POPs Team), who are the administrative hub of our Publishing Department.

To join us you will need to be a dynamic and agile administrator who will support our business processes, framework and structure, by maintaining quality control of data within our systems and ensuring adherence to our processes.

Key responsibilities

Biblio:

  • Set up titles on Biblio and manage them through the system
  • Control and progress title status through Biblio
  • Work to ensure all data is accurate
  • Undertaking ad-hoc data entry/cleansing tasks

Administrative:

  • Uphold current processes
  • Help with contract copies and samples
  • Raising Purchase Orders and processing Invoices
  • Supporting teams with standard processes
  • Producing MS excel reports

Sales Material Support:

  • Admin tasks to support processes and requests
  • Supporting and assisting the Sales Material Team

Qualifications and Experience


  • Excellent communicator both telephone and face to face
  • Experience showing accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using Microsoft word and Excel
  • Good organisational ability and timekeeping
  • Have experience with working independently and as a part of a team
  • Possess quality administrative experience
