The nutshell version
A bit about you:

  • You’re a word nerd with a passion for UX. You write kickass copy in native-level Danish.

  • If your job title hasn’t been “UX Writer”, maybe it’s something like “Content Designer”, “Content Writer”, “Content Specialist” etc. or the Danish equivalent.

  • The idea of helping shape a brand new, cross-brand, cross-Nordic team makes you do a little happy dance.

  • You understand why quality localisation, inclusivity, and accessibility are necessities and not an afterthought.

What you'd be doing:

You will be the go-to UX Writing specialist for our Danish brands, guidelines, and Danish-speaking users.

You’ll be part of a talented, creative, and caring cross-Nordic UX Writing team, working together to elevate UX Writing across the whole organisation. Most of your week will be spent collaborating with writers, designers and linguists.
Figma, Miro and Slack (OK, OK, and the occasional Google Doc) are our playgrounds.

Where you'd work:

Enjoy working flexibly from home or in your favourite cafe? We got you covered. But we also offer one of the coolest offices in Aarhus. 😎 Good vibes, weekly breakfasts, an onsite gym, mindfulness sessions, and lunch every day (that a local Product Designer describes as tasting "incredible"). We want you to feel happy and looked after at work.

The org you'd work for:

Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces (NMP for short) - A product family that includes Bilbasen, DBA, Blocket, FINN, Oikotie, Rakentaja & Tori. IE. Some of the most well-known local brands in each market, targeting millions of monthly users in the Nordics.

Why choose us:

  • Work culture: We truly value work-life harmony, support each other, and embrace change.

  • A pretty unique career opportunity: Join a growing, cross-country UX Writing team, aside localisation experts and a mature design community.

  • Benefits package: Wicked perks, to take care of you and enhance your work experience.

Sounds like your cup of tea? Check out the full story below!

Skills & Requirements

A bit (more) about you:

  • You speak and write native-level Danish and feel confident speaking English at work.

  • You have at least 1 year of experience working with UX Writing.

  • You understand the value that UX Writing and content design brings to the table compared to commercial writing.

  • You enjoy playing around in Figma or are comfortable picking up similar design tools.

  • You have experience working with content guidelines and enjoy nerding out about the small but mighty details.

  • You’re confident in your ability to work with multiple teams across several projects in the week. You embrace cross-cultural collaboration.

  • Teamwork really makes your dream work. You appreciate deep focus time but love to share knowledge and build something great with others.

More about the role:

As the Danish-speaking UX Writer, you’ll be the advocate for UI content quality, accessibility, localisation, brand consistency, voice, and general content awesomeness.

Right now, your fellow UX Writers are excitedly awaiting your input on projects like:

  • Our cross-Nordic, cross-brand UX Writing guidelines.

  • Shaping the UI content in our new cross-Nordic platform that unites all our brands and services. Working with talented and supportive designers to make it the best user experience possible.

  • The UI content for our most important features and user journeys in DBA and Bilbasen .

*Growing internal (and external, if you want!) awareness and knowledge about UX Writing best practices and content accessibility.

  • Helping build and uplift the best UX Writing team (slightly biased) as we grow, learn, create, and have fun together.

A typical work day would probably include:

  • A friendly, chill call to catch up with your teammates across the Nordics.

  • Playing around with designs in Figma, iterating on copy in Docs, or mapping ideas in Miro.

  • Downtime in the office game room or getting a massage.

  • Sharing GIFs, knowledge, and connecting on Slack.

  • A meeting or little workshop to collaborate on designs or team initiatives around team development and culture.

  • Maybe after work you’ll join one of the cinema nights or join the Friday bar.

Welcome to Schibsted Nordic Marketplaces:
