We are looking for an experienced HSE Specialist inside the Quality Control organization to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality Control Team based in Skelleftea. By joining us, you will be a key player in the implementation of Northvolt HSE policies at Quality Laboratory activities and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.
About the job
You will be responsible for supporting the area management with the creation, adaption and the implementation of Northvolt policies that protect employee health and company property while complying with relevant HSE legislation. The Quality Control HSE Specialist will work closely with the HSE department to determine and establish procedures, health &safety standards and to monitor these. The Quality Control HSE Specialist is a part of the QC team and is responsible for both Downstream and Upstream laboratory activities.
About the team
You will be joining the Quality Control organization of Northvolt Ett based in Skelleftea.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implementation and continuous improvement of practical HSE control measures
- Compliance audits
- Management of HSE related issues
- Development, execution and follow up of training plans and assuring adherence
- HSE policy implementation in close coordination with the QC area management

Skills & Requirements
We believe that you have :
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Relevant University grade a plus but can be replaced by industry experience
- Ability and interest in helping others grow
- Avid reader and constant learner
- Data driven problem solver
- Fluent in technical English, written and verbal, Swedish knowledge is advantageous
- Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing is a plus
