Now, Hurtigruten Norway are ready to increase the number of commercial ships on this iconic voyage. MS Otto Sverdrup sails from Hamburg to Norwegian destinations with primarily German guests, where we want new colleagues who can communicate in German.

Duties and responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the warehouse manager shall include, but not be limited to:
Item orders in cooperation with the chef and hotel manager, including returns and complaints
Receipt and control of goods, including quantity and quality control, as well as bringing goods to respective provision rooms. Fresh products must be inspected upon receipt in cooperation with the chef
Daily completion of retail- and warehouse locations. The consignee shall check the goods received according to the delivery slip
Storage of provisions in accordance with current regulations and the internal control food system, as well as order and cleaning in provision rooms and warehouses
Follow-up of warehouse management system
Assist department managers and other users of cash register and warehouse management systems with routines for the system to function appropriately
Carry out inventory counting and control in cooperation with the hotel manager in accordance with the company's guidelines given in the warehouse management manual
Make necessary corrections and entries of wastage and deviations, certified by the hotel manager
Systematic information and reporting to the hotel manager regarding inventory management
Update and follow-up of chemical storage in the hotel department
Waste management in provision rooms and transport to waste stations
Inform superiors about nonconformities, so that this can be handled by responsible
Responsible for ensuring that instructions in the manual for the warehouse management system are followed up
Perform gangway guards when needed
During downtime, participate in incidental work
Other incidental work, including handling of empty goods as required by the hotel manager after other tasks in accordance with warehouse management and instructions related to the warehouse management system have been completed
Hurtigruten set high demands for safety on board, which means that all employees must have; Basic safety course for seafarers, Crowd and Crisis course, and approved health certificate from authorized seafarer doctor. There is no requirement to have completed the courses before applying, but you must be willing to take them, and please note that the individual must pay for the courses themselves

The warehouse manager has a duty of confidentiality towards outsiders regarding purchasing agreements made by the company and/or ship.
