Level Design Intern

Nørdlight is currently recruiting a level designer intern.

We are looking for someone with a fun and friendly attitude to join our team, create amazing games with us and have a lot of fun in the process!

What you would primarily do:

  • Be a part of creating casual puzzle levels.
  • Be part in analyzing/balancing levels based on data.
  • Be part in contributing design to new level design features.
  • Be active in harnessing the creativity of the team.
  • Maintain relevant documentation.
  • Work iteratively in cross-functional teams together with developers and game artists.

Skills & Requirements

  • Fundamental knowledge and theory about best practices in Level Design.
  • Unity Skills.
  • Currently studying / have a degree in a relevant field (Game Design/Development).
  • Often hear yourself asking “What needs to be done next?”.
  • Good communicator and a great team player with a positive attitude!
  • Fluent in English.

It wouldn’t hurt if you:

  • Have interest and experience in Puzzle Games (Casual, Mobile etc)
  • Are fluent in Swedish

Good to know

Nørdlight is part of the global company Spin Master and we are sitting in the same office as our sister studio Toca Boca and Noid in Luma/Stockholm. This position is full time and offers the possibility of working from home or from our office, however candidates must be able to live and work in Sweden. The position is open to recent graduates and those looking for a LIA placement.
