About Solution Seeker
Solution Seeker is a scaleup that builds software and AI for industrial production optimization, turning data into value and insight for our users. Our software streams live sensor data from production facilities all over the world, which is processed using patented algorithms for identifying stable periods and selecting the most valuable data points for our machine learning models.
On top of this, we build applications that help customers visualize and contextualize their data with our predictions and analyses, enabling them to make decisions for optimizing production. In addition to working with clients, we dedicate a significant portion of our time and resources to machine learning research and active topics, including generative and probabilistic modeling, hybrid modeling (combining physics and ML), data-driven production optimization, and closed-loop identification.
Job description
As a UX-designer at Solution Seeker, you become part of a committed analytics team that constantly seeks ways to develop better products for our customers. You will be the main responsible for knowing how our customers interact with the products, and translating this knowledge into overall interaction and visual design across the entire product portfolio. You will play a central role throughout the whole process of product development, working closely with both the customer-facing and development teams in Solution Seeker.
Solution Seeker is a team of highly competent people who crave autonomy. This is something we encourage in our employees, and the same goes for this job opportunity. Facilitate the design process for new and existing products, from user story mapping to prototype iterations
Holistic product design for our «AI as a service» product portfolio
Stay up to date with new trends and tools within UX design
Take part in product management tasks, such as aligning design work, customer value and company strategy
Take part in developing internal systems and workflows for more effective product development
About you

You thrive in a young and fast-paced environment, where your passion for continuous learning and innovation drives your success. Join us and be part of a team that embraces curiosity, warmth, playfulness, and punchiness as we work together to create groundbreaking solutions and maintain our position as world-leading experts in our field.
What we offer

We offer flexible work hours and the opportunity to work remotely. Still, most of us prefer our spacious offices in downtown Oslo, and the daily delightful lunch conversations. If you want even more spice in your day-to-day life, it is possible to spend one or more of the cold winter months at our offices (and the beaches) in Rio de Janeiro.
If you think you are a good fit for the position, we look forward to receiving your application!

Would you like to work for a deeptech-scaleup that is bringing AI to different production industries? Are you curious about machine learning and how it can innovate existing workflows? Would you like to build the next generation software for optimizing production?
As Solution Seekers we are obviously open and curious people, always seeking to find the best solutions to the obstacles we take on. Often that means challenging the status-quo, a skill we have honed over the years in a conservative industry. It also means staying true to our vision and niche, in order to be truly world-class in the domains that we have chosen to operate in. But above all else, being a Seeker means being devoted to our team and colleagues, truly backing each other in order to deliver on what we have promised and committed to. All while managing to have lots of fun on the way!
