Schibsted is a family of digital brands leading the way across media, online marketplaces and technology ventures in Nordics. In Norway, we represent strong brands such as VG, FINN, Aftenposten, E24, Bergens Tidende and Stavanger Aftenblad.
Analytical Foundations is a key department within Schibsted that is responsible for building state-of-the-art common analytical products with emphasis on structured, detailed and consistent data to all of Schibsted, removing frictions between data and people.
The Role
We are looking for a Data Product Owner, passionate about using Data to solve business problems.
You’ll collaborate with stakeholders across the business to identify, understand and deliver data-related needs through our data platform, by having an intimate knowledge of the data domains and our consumers to assure the success of metrics such as data sharing, fast paced data consumption, easy to use and in general data user satisfaction through surveys. You will also play an important role in data governance, which includes establishing data quality standards, data management and compliance processes.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary organisation where you will have the opportunity to partner and learn with data product managers, data engineers, data scientists and business analysts. You will have the chance to develop your career in many data fields, ultimately acting as a key contributor towards taking our data-driven company to the next level.
The Team
The Common Analytical Model team is a high impact team of data engineers, business analysts and BI developers dedicated to closing the gap between the business needs and the data. The Core team, which you will be joining , primarily focuses on the business critical data domains of User, Content, Behavioural and Transactions. Leveraging data captured from the whole of Schibsted, the Core team serves as a collaborative data hub for our Brands as well as Corporate teams. We make common data as a product available across Schibsted, always thinking about best practice modelling, performance, cost efficiency and privacy compliance.

2020 - 2021Adevinta förvärvar eBay Classifieds Group och skapar världens största digitala marknadsplats. I samband med affären köper Schibsted de danska marknadsplatserna DBA och Bilbasen.
