We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Developer to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our bold Upstream team based in Skellefteå . By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing the logistics topics on site and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job:
As Logistics Developer, you are responsible for dedicated support to all Logistic topics that arise in Cathode Active Material Upstream production in Northvolt ETT. Your role will also be to hold expert knowledge of Logistic solutions and processes within all manufacturing area in Upstream, and the interactions with internal customers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Point of contact and driver for development and management of CAM US1 logistic topics, whether this be internal, intercompany or external.
  • Project manage local implementation projects and improvement projects
  • Facilitation of the flow of information between stakeholders for the above mentioned topics, ensuring action takers and decision makers have the opportunity and the knowledge to progress.
  • Ensuring, that there are the tools/processes/systems in place to facilitate control of the materials within US1
  • Build up a network of internal stakeholders and interested parties to be able to draw on experience and requirements in the development of Logistic solutions.
  • Working with Production team especially but all stakeholders, in the successful deployment of Logistic Solutions, ensuring they are fit for purpose as well as ensuring your competence is described and transferred to operations

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical, chemical, industrial manufacturing engineering or similar
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in Logistics Development within manufacturing industry
  • Competences in industrial methodologies such as value stream analysis, lean manufacturing, FMEA, design to cost etc.
  • Technical knowledge or a great interest in ERP, automated warehouses and AGVs
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
