Role responsibilities:

• Lead solution architecture and evolution of the end-2-end Agile TV modules (headend, backend, frontend, devices).
• Provide technical direction, guidance, and hands-on management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and partners to define a clear roadmap for next-generation features.
• Manage partner relationships.
• Lead design and advancement of Agile TV SDK.
• Stay ahead of the curve regarding changes & trends in the Pay TV development.
• Methodically manage and coordinate design and development of networks, platforms and customer solutions.
• Coordinate design of big projects.
• Gather and analyse information about new trends in architecture and design, prepare requests to integrate new technologies and systems.
• Participate on activities related with innovations of networks, applications, platforms and customer solutions.
• Negotiations with vendors in related technical field and responsibility for technical part of tenders
• Prepare expert opinion in related field (technical consultations).

Requirements:

• Ability to create robust technical designs and implementations that solve business requirements.
• +5 years experience Digital TV technologies & business
• Experience in end-2-end projects management and technical leading, covering all parts of a TV platform: headend, backend, frontend, devices​.​
• Experience in OTT Architecture and Pay TV Technologies​.​
• Experience in the design and development of software projects and managing developer groups​.​
• Expert in conditional access systems and DRM: Fairplay, PlayReady and Widevine​.​
• Experience in RFP responses and tenders for IPTV/OTT and broadcast platforms projects​.​
• Expert in DVB and MPEG standards​.​
• Experience in application development​, ​conditional access systems, mobile applications technologies and IoT.
• Experience in cryptography.
• Fluency in English & Spanish
