We are looking for seasoned Mobile Developers, focusing on our Android application, to ensure we deliver amazing cyber protection on mobile platforms to millions of users spread across 50+ countries. In our team, we often call ourselves "the good Fellows", protecting innocent users from cyber villains.

You will join our India organisation, previously known as Lookout Life, that was united with F-Secure through a business acquisition in July 2023 (read more here). By strengthening our mobile client team, you will take on some of the most interesting challenges in one or more security areas of intellectual property and fundamental building blocks of our category-defining Personal products. Our team is responsible for implementation and integration of new security features. This role is located in Bengaluru, however our team works almost fully remote, except for team days that will be agreed upon separately.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, architecting and developing new features for our Android apps, championing great mobile architecture and seamless software design paradigms.
• Taking ownership of our existing features and drive their continuous development and improvement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to take an idea from concept to delivery.
• Participating in regular design and code reviews, providing your insights and constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of our codebase.
• Striving for innovation. We help you dive deep into our core technologies to have an end-to-end understanding how we protect consumers from threats. Together, with the team, we innovate better solutions for our customer’s protection.

And the tech stack, you’ll be using:

• RxJava/Kotlin Flow, Dagger2/Koin & Jetpack compose

What are we looking for?

• Academic background in engineering, preferably in software or computer engineering.
• At least 6 years of experience from full life cycle development, focusing in native development with Kotlin and Java in the Android ecosystem, with exceptional architecture, coding & design skills.
• Experience with RxJava/Kotlin Flow, Dagger2/Koin & Jetpack compose
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Design & Development.
• Our organisation language is English, so we expect you to have full professional proficiency in English and that you enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
• Curiosity to learn and share your learnings with other developers.
