The role
In your role, you will be part of the HVDC team and be responsible for the hardware design of our control and protection systems. You will design the layout of our system cabinets, with circuit boards, connection points, ground rails and cable trays, etc.
You will work together with our customers, both internally and externally, to ensure that our delivery meets their requirements and standards. Collaborate with colleagues and share learnings between different projects and disciplines will be a large part of your work. You will have the freedom to plan and organize your work according to the needs of the project, as well as working with problem solving.

We think you have
Role 1
Previous work experience in similar field is preferable
Perform semiconductor valve simulations including circuit and FEM simulations
Design and maintenance of digital current transformers HVDC and FACTS applications
Specify testing requirements to ensure that tests are performed according to standards
Specify control and protection requirements on the valve
You have at least a Bachelor of Science and preferably a Master of Science in Power Engineering, Engineering Physics or equivalent
You have good knowledge of engineering tools such as Matlab, Mathcad, PSCAD, PSpice, COMSOL or ANSYS
