Your role

• Own and run packaging design for secondary & tertiary packaging activities (incl. labelling) in global cross functional teams to launch new products and redesign on market products
• Lead secondary & tertiary packaging design projects for technology platforms and manage collaboration with involved functions to ensure successful outcome
• Support definition of secondary & tertiary packaging technology, labelling strategy and roadmap
• Responsible for design and deployment of standards in materials, formats, and processes
• Ensure state-of-the-art technical design solutions (incl. feasibility studies, visualizations, and prototypes) for commercial, secondary & tertiary packaging and labelling by target-oriented management of internal & external resources (agencies, packaging & machine suppliers, sites)
• Support development activities including to technology landscaping and change control

Your profile

• Bachelor’s, Master or PhD degree in engineering or material science or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of primary or secondary packaging / medical device and combination product; preferred in pharmaceutical area or similar
• Strong communication skills & listener, actively reaching out, able to understand and connect across functions
• Inspires others to solve technical issues / problems
• Excellent skills in English, verbal and written. Other language skills, e.g. German are of advantage
• Experience in scientific, technical publications and to present topics / knowledge gained at external / internal conferences

The gross annual salary is at least EUR 50.000€ but of course we offer overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience.
