Your role
In this role as a Design Engineer, you will work in the Automotive industry. If you have experience from developing plastic or sheet metal parts as a Design engineer, Senior Design engineer, Component responsible or similar we are interested in hearing from you!
Preferably you already have experience from working with heavy commercial vehicles. You have the right mindset and understand what it takes to be a consultant, going the extra mile for our customers and building your career with Capgemini Engineering.

Responsibilities
- Secure project deliverables according to set responsibilities.
- Contact with other R&D areas, stakeholders, and attributes to agree of required actions, both internal and external.
- Supplier management.
- Responsible to ensure that the technical documentation is available at the right level, with the right quality and at the right time.
- Responsible of verifying that all component requirements are met. Developing and owning the Design verification plan.
- Be responsible for Time, Technique and Cost for each specific task or component.
Required qualifications
- Minimum B.Sc. within Mechanical engineering, Automotive engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- A few years of working experience, preferably you have worked in all project phases from concept to release and serial production.
- Strong skills in working with CAD systems (for example Catia V5 and/or CREO) and PLM-systems. Solids, surfaces, 2D and 3D.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken). Swedish as well as other languages is meriting.
- The roles require a valid work permit for Sweden.
