We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager of Digitalization – Labs Campus to join our team in Northvolt Västerås, Sweden. In this role, you will lead the Software & Automation team, overseeing the delivery of digitalization projects, software development, automation solutions, and factory floor support for our Labs Campus. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining strategies, roadmaps, budgets, implementation, and business relationship management for the Labs and central functions.

As the Manager of Digitalization – Labs Campus, your key responsibilities will include:

• Enable Efficient Digitalization Support:
• Ensure the Digitalization function efficiently supports the Labs Campus, enabling seamless operations and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align prioritization and expectations between management and central functions.

• Leadership of the Software & Automation Department:
• Lead and manage the Software & Automation department, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Oversee the delivery of digitalization projects, software development, and automation solutions, ensuring their successful execution and alignment with business objectives.

• Single Point of Contact for Digitalization Escalations in Västerås:
• Act as the single point of contact for escalations related to Digitalization within the Labs Campus Operations functions.
• Address and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.

• Resource Management for Software & Automation Projects:
• Ensure that software & automation projects are appropriately staffed with skilled resources, managing resource allocation and workload distribution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, objectives, timelines, and deliverables, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as needed

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role, overseeing software & automation projects and teams within a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of digitalization, software development, and automation technologies, with a track record of successful implementations.
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams, foster innovation, and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong business acumen and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on driving alignment and achieving business objectives.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
