Join Capgemini as an IFS Solution Architect and join our IFS skill center , newly started team in Belgium. Our aspiration is to be the key trusted advisor accompanying our clients on their transformation journey to a more successful, sustainable, and innovative future, bringing in-depth business and technology as well as transformation expertise.

Your core responsibilities

• As part of the IFS CoE of Europe Cluster BU, you will get to work in tight and direct interaction with tier 1 clients across several countries and industries, helping them on the IFS Cloud transformation journey, with focus on large engagements
• You will be presented with a wide portfolio of interesting client opportunities and be involved in pre-sales activities, while depending on your preferences also focus on specific industries and clients is possible
• Within the CoE, you will get to network and collaborate on Europe and Global level, be involved in the development of the Capgemini’s go-to-market approach, the Digital Core with IFS offering, and the assets supporting this from a solutioning point-of-view
• Own the definition and designing of key enterprise solutions to meet specific, project-based requirements, in line with business needs and priorities which align to the Enterprise IT strategy and architecture standards by functional/process area
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum master, other Solutions Designers, Technical Leads, developers and other team members to ensure that the outcomes delivered meet the business benefits and adhere to agreed standards, policies and design patterns
• Define and drive technical vision and strategy, provide thought leadership, and facilitate technical innovation
• Develop relationships with IT stakeholders at our customers and help them to understand how the IFS platform fits into their overall technology strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor and guide customers towards solutions that have the greatest likelihood of long-term success
• Hone your knowledge of the IFS platform through hands-on training and exploration in the areas of CRIM (Configuration, Reporting, Integration, Modifications), and service delivery and support our account-aligned solution engineers when this deeper level of expertise is needed to solve customer challenges
• Guide deal strategy by providing insight into the technical buyer and crafting influence strategies that resonate with this audience
• Working with external vendors across internal IT spanning all disciplines, from Architecture, Development, Testing and Support to ensure optimal delivery whilst continually ensuring high quality output is preserved
• Highlight insights from customer conversations with our product teams to help ensure we are moving in the direction of market needs
• Share your knowledge and approaches with the broader solution engineering teams to multiply the impact of your work
• Continue to develop yourself as a technologist and as a pre-sales professional in a supportive, collaborative team environment

Our expectations

• Ability to understand business & IT department requirements, translate those business needs into a compelling solution and present your recommendations to executive, technical, and business audience.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise software applications and their delivery, including several of the following:
  • Some coding experience and a willingness to work with code
  • Database and data management fundamentals
  • Web based and mobile application development and architecture
  • Application lifecycle management
  • Integration principles and tools
  • Enterprise data management tools and methods
  • Process orchestration
  • Principles of network, application, and information security
• Experience in roles that required working hands-on to build, implement, administer, or maintain enterprise software (e.g. software engineer, implementation architect, integration architect, or similar).
• Certified and experienced with the IFS platform
• Broad knowledge of current status and emerging trends in cloud technologies, Cloud migration of packaged applications IFS is a plus
• Master degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
• Driven by new technologies, innovation and change
• Committed, pragmatic, self-driven, enthusiastic, and a go-getter
• Belgium resident - native speaker of French or Dutch and professional working proficiency in English with excellent communication skills

Location and Travel

Capgemini Europe Cluster BU includes Belgium, France, The Netherlands and Sweden. In 2023, the biggest growth potential and hence focus of our business will be in Belgium.
