As a Senior Account Executive in SaaS Sales, you will engage with enterprise-size companies to develop and close new business deals in ANZ region.
Success will require an ability to think strategically to design a value-based engagement for customers. You will show how Basware can improve their bottom line whilst optimizing their business performance in a way they have never experienced. You will interact with the CFO office and show how AP automation and our invoicing platform creates unprecedented efficiency, transparency, and the ability to mitigate and reduce risks.
You will have the opportunity to create Basware’s largest sales engagements to support our accelerated growth. We are leading the way within the industry, where AP automation mandates in various markets create significant expansion and growth opportunities for Basware and our sales. You, together with our remarkable team and our industry-leading solutions combining decades of innovation and experience, will make it all just happen for our customers.
Determinedly drive and manage the Basware software sales life cycle from lead generation, pipeline building, forecasting, and closing net new accounts in the region for companies with annual revenue greater than $1bn
Putting full focus on demonstrating solution value, and how Basware helps customers meet their strategic objectives by identifying key business drivers and developing compelling points of view to drive executive level conversations and decisions
Be a Customer Advisor to drive automation at the CFO office
Consistently achieve quota with a significant opportunity for overachievement
Systematically build and manage an opportunity pipeline large enough to reach revenue targets
Work collaboratively with the broader sales, solution value consulting, customer success, professional services, BDRs and marketing teams to systematically develop sales opportunities
Develop and manage regional marketing and lead generation activities within the overall marketing framework
Skills & Requirements
10+ years of strong and demonstrable experience in successful enterprise SaaS solution sales
Strong customer-facing skills, executive presence with the ability to build credibility and trust with senior executives within customer accounts
Ability to LEAD a virtual deal team, defining the vision and plan for each deal and driving collaboration with colleagues across Solution Value Consulting, Professional Services, Customer Success, external business partners, Basware leadership and other stakeholders.
Track record of developing value for prospective customers and differentiation for their solution through a consultative sales approach
Familiarity with complex selling processes and methodologies where solutions are sold to multiple players (Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Sourcing, IT, etc.)
Passion and hunger to win, succeed and strive for excellence
Industry experience within an invoice automation/financial services/payments/spend management/purchase-to-pay/ vendor brings a great advantage to succeed in the role
Are driven by working within a fast-paced environment
Ability to work across multiple functions/disciplines/cultures/geographies in a highly collaborative and engaging fashion
A willingness to travel and work to global timetables and needs
Fluency in English is required
