We are looking for an experienced and driven Corporate Development Manager to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate Drei team based in Hamburg/Heide. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and growing the Northvolt presence in Germany and contribute to building one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job
Your position is of utmost strategic importance for the entire company build-up in Germany. You will operate at the forefront of company building and shape organizational structures and processes. Your daily work will both be highly strategic and implementation focused, working closely with both top-management and the broader organization across all functions. You will connect German activities with our operations in Sweden and ensure a lean and efficient collaboration. You will operate in the nucleus of the hyper-dynamic Northvolt universe which will enable you to grow your skills, personality and mindset exponentially.

About the team
You will report to the Director Strategy, working within a performance-driven and passionate rockstar team of entrepreneurs who set the pace for corporate/project development in Germany and enable the Northvolt Drei factory program in Heide. You will operate from Hamburg, however this position needs to be close to operations in Heide and Stockholm.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design and implement the growth strategy of Northvolt Germany
  • Drive the company building and organizational development process
  • Lead strategic initiatives and support the management team in decision-making processes and managing interfaces
  • Shape and manage the overall governance of Northvolt Germany business unit and own reporting processes
  • Preparing German business unit for external auditing and due diligence processes
  • Drive corporate development projects and steer external stakeholders

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • A MSc/MBA degree in business and/or industrial engineering
  • 3+ years working experience in management consulting or corporate development in a fast-growing company
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Track record of successful organizational development projects

Bonus points for:
