Senior specialists - Nokia Packet Core

We are looking for Senior Specialists within Nokia Packet Core products to help us build and grow a new business area within our Telecom division. You need to have an operational background with hands on CMM, CMG and 5G NF exposure in operations and troubleshooting. If you also have experience in DevSecOps, cloud native functions, CaaS in general and VMWARE CaaS that would be an additional plus. The position is located in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

In this role you will act as a domain specialist in the area providing network solutions considering E2E impacts and more operational background of the core networks. You will work closely with customers and all stakeholders in an international project environment, therefore excellent communication level in English, both verbal and written, is required. We are looking for someone who is open minded with a great team attitude, innovative spirit and analytic learning capabilities. In addition, you need excellent planning and organizing skills and the ability to work and learn in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

The following responsibilities are also included:

• Design solutions that are scalable, robust and efficient that fulfills customers technical and business requirements
• Participate in the deployment and integration of 4G and 5G Core Network Functions
• Set up a virtualized infrastructure mainly on VMware
• Work for Telco Private solutions for Enterprise and Telco operators
• Analyze, qualify test results and take proactive approach to technical issues by tackling them early and driving resolution to minimize project schedule impact

Requirements

• Academic degree majoring in engineering (IT, Telecom)
• 10+ year of proven experience of Nokia Packet core integration activities and operational background of Packet core products.
• Senior level knowledge and hands on experience with Nokia Packet Core products such as CMM (Cloud Mobility Management), CMG (Cloud Media Gateway), 5G NF exposure (as example MME, EPG, PCF, 5GC SA)
• Strong competence in CaaS and experience in virtualized infrastructure on VMware
• Meeting with customers to define how to satisfy their business objectives including the definition of customizations to be made, defining the statement of work and deployment activities to execute in production networks.
• Experienced with VNF and CNF onboarding and orchestrations, deployment and troubleshooting of EPC and Policy.
• Experience of constructing and updating system architecture descriptions and blueprints (HLD, LLD)
• Collaboration with customers to execute customer acceptance tests, stage deployment configurations, validate installation Methods of Procedures (MOPs), validate migration procedures, and validate integration & interoperability of vEPC/5G packet core with other network elements.
• Knowledge of Virtualization solutions, Database and Telecom Core technologies, and with IP Network technologies (routing/switching, VLANs and IP addressing, knowledge of Firewall principles)
• Server deployment and verification experience (Linux is preferable)
• Mobile network protocol knowledge (GTP, Diameter, Radius, LDAP, etc)
• Swedish work permit or Swedish residency required
• Kubernetes, Docker, Openstack is a plus
