Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Scrapping and Re-Work associate to join our excellent and passionate team at Northvolt ETT in Skellefteå.

In joining us you will play an important part in building one of the first large scale European battery factories. Northvolt will play a significant role in the transformation to a carbon free society. With recycling and innovation in focus, Northvolt wants to defeat climate change without compromising on ecosystems, over the use of natural resources or pollution of water and land.

In a fast-moving and changing world where environmental awareness and electrification are increasingly in focus, the batteries of the future will have a major impact. Tomorrow's energy sources require new solutions, developed by driven, knowledgeable and curious employees.

In your role as Re-Work Associate, your main tasks will involve:

  • Scrap material (coated foil, pure foil, battery cells etc.)
  • Handle waste and send out of the building/site
  • Re-work material (re-pack, clean or make smaller modifications)

About our future colleague:
To thrive in the role, we believe that you have previous work experience in the logistics area. You should also feel comfortable working with chemicals and wearing protective clothing (overall, gloves, breathing mask). To thrive in this role, you need to be able to follow instructions and maintain safety rules, deliver according to set targets and contribute to improving our processes.
