Cloud Operations Engineer

As a Cloud Operations Engineer:

  • You will manage production processes that ensure the integrity of the service, such as Change Management, Uptime Reporting, Supplier Management activities.
  • You will monitor the customer data in production environment.
  • You will manage major service outages - offering support, handling service incidents, and handling activities in case of major production disruptions or outages.
  • You will be responsible to monitor and to ensure the proper functionality of Basware systems; proactive monitoring of customer invoice flows and services, using global Production tools or system specific.
  • You will be responsible in handling the Quality Gate process for the deployment of new customer setups in production.
  • You will be responsible in handling internal incidents or customer tickets related to the Basware system functionality.
  • You will be responsible to monitor the customer connections to our servers and to ensure that the documents are delivered within the agreed SLA.
  • You will be responsible to change configurations in tools, applications or customer implementations in order to automate manual tasks or processes
  • You will be responsible to identify areas of the services, customer invoice flows or part of the applications that must work in a different way and can be improved or automated.

Skills & Requirements

To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have the following skills and experience:

  • Troubleshooting platform and infrastructure issues.
  • Ability to work with multiple platforms and applications
  • IT/Computer Science Bachelor or Master degree
  • Ability to investigate the log files to solve issues on different operating systems
  • Driving investigations in time critical situations such as production service outages.
  • Proven analytical and investigative skills.
  • Pro-active attitude, and ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Ability to learn about Basware services, with with expertise/advanced knowledge in sub-set
  • Problem solving and quality improvements through corrective actions and fixes.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of XML, SQL, Java Regular Expressions
  • Basic knowledge of data transfer protocols - HTTPS, (S)FTP
  • Basic understanding of AWS
  • Proficient English language skills.
