Training and User Adoption Specialist

The Training and User Adoption Specialis t will be responsible for identifying training needs and designing and delivering effective training programs for software used by the company - such as the company's enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution system (MES), and product lifecycle management (PLM) software solutions. The position is also responsible for the successful user adoption of these systems and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Provide feedback to IT and product teams on how the company's software can better meet user needs and expectations
  2. Develop and deliver training materials and programs for various software used by the company - such as ERP, MES, and PLM systems, including classroom training, e-learning modules, and user documentation
  3. Work closely with business process owners and super users to ensure that training programs meet the needs of end-users and align with business processes.
  4. Measuring user adoption and success KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  5. Drive continuous improvement efforts to increase system usage and adoption, including developing best practices, conducting user surveys, and delivering targeted training and support.

Accountability/authorization:

The Training and User Adoption Specialist is responsible for ensuring successful user adoption of ERP, MES, and PLM systems, and has the authority to design and deliver training programs and materials to achieve this goal. This position will work closely with business process owners and super users to ensure that training programs meet the needs of end-users and align with business processes.

Skills & Requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, or related field.
3+ years of experience designing and delivering training programs for ERP, MES, or PLM systems.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with Scrum framework.
Deep understanding of manufacturing environment and processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions.
Experience working with a Project Management Office (PMO) is a plus.

Specific skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and MES software.
Experience with PLM systems, such as Siemens Teamcenter or PTC Windchill.
Familiarity with user adoption metrics and strategies.
Ability to develop effective e-learning modules and user documentation.
Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Continuous improvement mindset and ability to identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Familiarity with change management methodologies and strategies.
