Senior SAP Application Consultant

Capgemini's Nordic SAP team continues to grow successfully, with new initiatives and big, exciting ambitions. Our SAP capability operates across both public and private sectors such as retail, manufacturing, automotive, pharmacy, utilities and ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­defense. We contribute to the success of our clients by taking responsibility for their challenging SAP transformation journeys. As our S/4 project portfolio is growing, so is our need for talented SAP consultants. We are looking for Senior SAP Consultants to work with S4 transformation for different clients with us. As an SAP consultant at Capgemini you will get the opportunity to work with the latest technique, opportunities for education and access to a large network of experts within SAP. Hence you will get the possibility to gain a bunch of new competencies within your line of work.

Your responsibilities in this role would be:

  • Acting as an SAP Solution Expert
  • Delivering SAP solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices
  • Requirements gathering and estimation for development (functional or technical)
  • Hands on design, configuration and testing
  • Integration of interfaces with third party applications
  • Project related support of SAP integration
  • Collaborating with representatives of other SAP functions to ensure end to end process integration and consistency
  • Coaching/training other Business Process Experts to bring them up to speed quickly and making them productive members of the functional team

What you will bring with you:

  • 4+ years of SAP delivery and configuration experience with multiple full life cycle implementations in the areas of SAP PP, PM, SD, FICO or EWM
  • Proficiency in English communication, able to conduct sessions/demo with Business Experts
  • Functional/Technical proficiency with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation and two years of industry and/or consulting experience
  • Hands-on design, configuration and implementation knowledge of SAP S4HANA in a global landscape
  • Extensive experience of Custom Developments/enhancements and interfaces, along with writing Functional Specs., Business Process Documentation
  • Good hands-on knowledge of Master data like material master, BOM and recipes
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of interface with external systems for data transfers and reporting
  • Hands on experience in Solution Manager or Focused Build will be an added advantage
