Digital Product Designer for K-Citymarket, K Group

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Digital Product Designer to join our team at Kesko's home and speciality goods online store. As a Digital Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in designing and shaping our upcoming K-Citymarket web store and driving its success. This role is great for someone who is looking for a launchpad for the next stage in their career: we are seeking a talented and driven mid-level designer who wants to grow and learn in this role.
In this role, you are expected to:
- Design functional and seamless user experiences for K-Citymarket online store, from concept to delivery
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as product and marketing teams, to align designs with business objectives
- Keep yourself up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, especially related to e-commerce
- Utilise customer research, data, and insights to inform your design decisions and drive improvements
- Align the designs with other digital channels and contribute to the development of our design system
- Be part of shaping the product vision and roadmap
Your skills and background:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing digital products, preferably e-commerce related
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
- User-centric approach and a genuine passion for understanding user needs
- Ability to leverage customer research, data, and insights to inform design decisions
- You are proficient in Figma, which is our primary design tool
- Ability to work with UIs and support material that's in Finnish (the organisation works in Finnish, the team documentation is mainly in English)
- Openness to feedback and eagerness to learn and grow rapidly
- We are more interested in your skills than your education or years of working experience. However, design-related degree and 3–5 years of experience with digital products can help you demonstrate that you have the skills for this role.
