About the role:
Do you want to join our User Core Team with the mission to replace hassle with dazzle for our 11 million Users in Denmark, Finland and Norway?
Working with User Core data and functionality, in the most loved wallet in the Nordics, is a great responsibility. We want to be compliant with local and global laws and regulations, but without hassle.
We are a strong team of 4 Software Engineers, 1 Product Manager, 1 QA Specialist and an Engineering Manager.
We have the full Cross Functional responsibility, and we own the User Life Cycle from onboarding to termination. And we want to build scalable solutions, based on Azure Cloud microservice architecture.
As a developer you spend most of your time with your Core Team, but also actively take part in the strong tech community that we have in Vipps MobilePay.
Our developers get the freedom to work independently in a way that gives them technical ownership over the code they write. This gives each developer the ability to make the changes they feel are necessary to keep up a good quality of code.
Skills & Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a backend or full stack developer
- Strong experience with .NET, .NET Core and C#
- You bring ideas to the table, listen to others’ ideas and you love to improve these ideas
- You’re not afraid to speak up when you disagree or don’t understand decisions that have been made
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- You have the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively
Nice to have:
- Experience with Azure Cloud Services
- Proficiency in SQL
- Experience with designing and developing event-sourced systems
- Strong focus on testing, with experience in test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks
- iOS or Android frontend development experience

Who we are:
We have only just merged our two brands into one joint company, employing 700 people in our centrally located offices in Oslo, Copenhagen, Århus, Helsinki and Vilnius. This position is in central Århus. We primarily work from the office, but it’s possible to work from home and abroad.
