Basware Corporate Functions supports Basware business by providing and continuously developing high quality tools, processes and expertise to enable successful execution of company strategy, effective operations, and happy internal and external customers.

Corporate Functions has skilled and development-oriented people working across the world in all of Basware’s 14 countries, with truly global ways of working, and consists of Digital Office, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, Legal and Sourcing teams.

Together with other Basware units, Corporate Functions ensures that our customers can successfully meet their business objectives through cooperating with Basware and using our product and service portfolio.

We are now looking for a Performance and Reward Manager to join our team.

In your new role, you’ll be based in our Iasi office and be part of HR Performance and Reward Centre of Excellence. As a team we strive for first class employee experience through scalable, global process design and delivery.

You will be a key contributor responsible for the administration and incremental development of Performance and Reward processes in cooperation with HR community and other stakeholders. You will support design of Performance and Reward approach and processes through subject matter expertise and quantitative modelling. You may also own and manage Performance and Reward related development projects.

This role might also be a good fit for an experienced Finance professional having worked with compensation and performance related topics (e.g. Incentives, KPI frameworks, Payroll) and now seeking to venture further into strategic HR topics.

Key role responsibilities (“Your Contribution”)

  • Facilitates annual salary review process in co-operation with Business HR Partners;
  • Supports the development of global incentive plans and the corporate goal framework;
  • Manages employee goal setting process in the HR System (Sympa);
  • Ensures timely and accurate calculation of short-term incentives;
  • Participates in facilitation of annual employee performance review process;
  • As a subject matter expert, trains and supports the HR community in a wide range of Performance and Reward related questions, including compensation benchmarking;
  • Drives development of benefit policies in co-operation with Local HR Managers;
  • Defines tool and data requirements for Performance and Reward processes and participates in implementation together with external service providers (Sympa) and internal contributors.

Skills & Requirements

Main requirements:

In order to thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have

  • Strong subject matter expertise and experience on total rewards (compensation and benefits) domain, incl. understanding of compensation related financial concepts;
  • Analytical mindset, excellent numerical skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong process and project management skills, incl ability to challenge and prioritise stakeholder requirements;
  • Communication skills on all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to thrive in a global and fast-paced environment;
  • Innovative and open mindset seeking for incremental process improvement;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • Education: Master's or Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline;
  • Experience: Strong experience in Performance & Reward and/or related fields, including Finance.
