Business Controller - contract of 1 year

THE ROLE

As Business Controller in our finance team, you will drive our forecasting and closing processes and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure correct financial reporting.

Tasks may include:

• Driving the forecasting and closing of processes
• Analyzing the gap between performance and forecast / budget and propose appropriate actions
• Ensuring data completeness and consistency of the P&L
• Reviewing and approving our sales
• Presenting financial figures to the management
• Developing financial dashboards
• Managing various reconciliations (such as bookings >< revenue, revenue >< invoicing, etc.)
• Monitoring the treasury activities and ensuring a healthy cash flow situation
• Updating and implementing financial policies and procedures
• Working with internal and external auditors to ensure financial compliance when necessary
• Ensuring the HFM reporting
• Supporting various internal projects and project managers (for example in SPT, e-monitoring, etc.)

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• A master’s degree in business or finance. An MBA or additional master’s degree is a plus.
• At least 4 to a max of 5 years’ experience in a similar financial role.
• A very good spoken and written knowledge of English and French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• A good knowledge of Excel, which holds no secrets for you.
• Very strong interpersonal skills, including, but not limited to, verbal and written communication skills up to CxO level.
• A very sociable mindset. You are in touch with the business, management, and different stakeholders.
• An entrepreneurial and result-oriented mindset with a can-do mentality.

Furthermore you are available for a year or at least until end of June 2024.
