What is a Customer Success Manager?

The Customer Success Manager cares about the customers. She/he should know what the customers are working on, what goals they have, and what they expect to achieve with our product, a webbased learning portal for medical education.

Equipped with this information, the Customer Success Manager fosters short- and long-term success by solving problems before the customer even knows they're there, and pitching new ideas for how customers can use the product in the best possible way,

From pre-sales to post-purchase, the Customer Success Manager completes a variety of tasks and creates a mutually beneficial relationship with the customers. This includes aligning different parts of the organization to maintain proactive deliveries and plannings such with sales and support.

The customer should always be at the forefront of your attention. Their success equals your success, and the more you can invest in their needs and goals, the more successful you’ll be in this position.

Skills & Requirements

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Maximize customers' value and use of our product and service.
  • Advocate for Sectra; a positive reputation will not only keep your customers satisfied, but it will also encourage them to refer their colleagues.
  • Onboarding new customers and ensuring they get the best possible start with Sectra Education Portal.
  • Proactively checking in with and meeting customers to ensure they stay on track and successfully reach their goals.
  • Customer data analysis to understand how our product is used by the customer with the goal of full adoption.
  • Occasionally, you may be invited to join sales meetings with potential customers to support and advise with your product and clinical/(domain) expertise.
  • As part of the Customer Success team, you will be at the heart of things and collaborate tightly with both the sales team as well as the product team, to constantly innovate and optimize our ways of working and offer a leading product.
  • Approx. 50% travel.

For this position, the following requirements apply:

  • Customer-First mindset with a consultative nature. Able to build relationships and trust quickly and for the long term.
  • Medical background e.g./such as physiotherapist, medical doctor, nurse, pathologist or similar and/or teaching experience, (PACS experience an asset).
  • Strong proactive communication, written and verbal skills, English and Spanish.
  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Active listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Doer with ability to drive many tasks and projects at the same time.
  • Organized and work well independently, while also being a humble team player.

It is also worth mentioning that interests outside of work such as sports, leadership, music and singing, horse riding or flying (if you have a pilot's license you can fly to our customers in our Sectra aircraft) or anything else that makes you stand out. Not for the role of Customer Success Manager but for your role as “Sectrait”.
