Northvolt is looking for its next passionate and excellent individual to work alongside the Executive Management team. You will work directly with Christofer Haux, Northvolt’s VP of Automotive & Foundry and CEO of Northvolt Germany, as a high-potential Executive Assistant with the opportunity to grow into other roles within the organization, after following him for approximately 3 years.

In the role, you will have close interaction and play a critical role to Christofer Haux and his management teams. You will be responsible for his daily administration (calendar, travel, and meeting support) and supporting his management teams who focus on sales in the Automotive industry and enabling NV Drei in Germany - you are the hub and your work has a direct impact on their success.

We’re looking for candidates with 2-5 years of experience working at a relevant level in a fast-paced environment. You have ideally worked at large-scale and/or complex organizations, have experience in sales or a technical field, working in business areas involving Automotive, Engineering or Manufacturing are especially interesting, and Start-up experience is always a plus.

About the Executive Assistant role:

The Executive Assistant at Northvolt is much more than a traditional secretary. With a high level of energy, a clear vision, and a passion for organization you make things run smoothly while flexibly pivoting to accommodate last-minute changes. We expect you to work proactively, anticipating the needs of the Executive and organization you work for. Cross-functionally, you’ll be a part of our high-performing EA Team, working closely together to support each other and keep the Executive Management Team performing at their best.

Northvolt is in a continual growth period, which means that the ability to drive a large variety of ad hoc projects across the organization in a proactive way is vital for this role. You excel at spotting what needs fixing and making sure that happens. As an Executive Assistant, you will need to work and collaborate cross-functionally with multiple sites and stakeholders to ensure the smooth synchronization of work streams.

We believe that you are solution-oriented and exceptionally service-minded. You should like structure, in particular implementing new structures, and have great attention to detail without losing the overall picture. A positive attitude, the ability to quickly build and maintain large internal networks, and a true love for working in a fast-moving environment, are key success factors.

What you will do:

  • Support your Executive with all calendar administration, travel bookings and meeting support
  • Work closely with your Executive’s Management Teams to set agendas, prepare presentations, document meeting minutes and plan delegatory work
  • Organize meetings, customer visits, special events and off-sites
  • Gain unique insight on how an agile and fast-forward company in an evolving industry is run
  • Get the opportunity to grow into a new role in the organization after 3 years

What you will not do

  • Work as a traditional assistant/secretary
  • Only be exposed to admin. and limited to the same role during your entire career at Northvolt – we want to grow our employees!

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a project management, sales, or administrative role
  • An MSc, BSc, or relevant University degree
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Track record of successful project management achievements
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative. Documented experience of exercising good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all tasks
  • Excellent communication skills as you will be in constant interaction with team members, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously
  • Expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Bonus points for:

  • Fluency in Swedish and/or German
  • Previous experience in the Automotive industry
