Podme offers the highest quality content without ads - we have more than 100.000 paying subscribers and more than 20 million listenings per year. Podme plays a vital role in Schibsted’s podcast focus and we have an ambitious roadmap ahead of us.

One of the product teams running on this roadmap is the Connect team. We are truly customer obsessed - committed to offer the best experience for our users. We have a cross-functional team with frontend and backend engineers and UX designer - and are now looking for a senior web engineer to strengthen our team.

We are looking for a Web Engineer in our team in Krakow!

Who are we looking for?

• Have a solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript

• NodeJs and ReactJS experience

• Experience with state management tools like Redux, MobX

• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmin, Mocha

• Good CSS-skills

• Good English skills (both written and spoken)

• You write clean, efficient, and readable code using best practices

• A self-starter with excellent spoken/written communication and the ability to work effectively in a team that is forming

• Sense of ownership: business-oriented, ownership mindset (taking ownership all the way from planning to coding and then running it in production)

It's an advantage if you have

• Startup experience

• Worked Contentful

• Experience working with server side rendering

• Worked with C#

• SEO experience

Our interview process

• Recruiter screening (30 min): an initial call with the tech recruiter. We'll tell you a bit about us, answer any questions you may have, and learn about your background and what you're looking to do.

• Values interview (60 min): meeting the engineering manager and product manager focusing on your previous experiences as a teammate in various situations.

• Technical interview (90 min): system design interview and potentially some computer science fundamentals discussions together with a code review exercise with 2 of our engineers.
