Products, R&D and Production business function is responsible for ensuring that Basware continues to provide its customers with industry-leading SaaS solutions to simplify operations and spend smarter. This global function creates and executes the product strategy, new product innovations, roadmap, design, product development and product launches for Basware’s global product portfolio. Together with other Basware units, Products, R&D, and Production ensures that our customers can successfully meet their business objectives through cooperating with Basware and using our product and service portfolio.

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Developer to develop highly scalable cloud-based applications using state-of-the-art software and web technologies.

As a Senior Cloud Developer, you’ll be part of our talented E2E Platform development team in charge of the Basware e-invoicing applications. The team oversees the building of a responsive, high-performance user experience for our cloud-based applications, accessed by over a million users across the globe

Key role responsibilities:

  • Design and build advanced, scalable web applications and microservices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Enhancing engineering team culture by demonstrating full-stack contributions.
  • Work with product and business owners to understand product requirements.

Skills & Requirements

In order to thrive and succeed in this role, we expect the following:

  • Full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience.
  • Must have expertise in C#/.Net Development
  • Strong background with Test driven development (unit tests and integration tests)
  • Strong Knowledge of Relational and NoSql databases preferably dynamodb
  • Knowledge of working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Bamboo) and git.

  • Strong knowledge AWS serverless architecture (AWS lambdas, API gateway etc)

  • Familiarity with micro service architecture

Good to have:

  • Solid expertise in Angular and type script will be a huge plus.
  • Interest in learning Python

Qualifications:

  • BE, BTech, MTech or MCA
