Business Manager - Product as a Service (PaaS)

Our amazing team is now looking for a new colleague that can build and grow our PaaS Managed Services. You will be developing our client base and our offering simultaneously as well as managing the operations of the PaaS Managed Services.

Offering Products-as-a-Service is one of our many ways of challenging the linear business models as well as helping our clients to become more circular. PaaS is growing in popularity and for our clients, it requires big investments in new ways of working and new resources to support the end users. For companies who do not own their own channels, the shift from selling products (linear) to selling Products-as-a-Service (circular) will be even bigger. Our response to this shift is PaaS Managed Services.

Here's how you can contribute

We believe that your passion for Product-as-a-Service and how it can enable the circular economy and a more sustainable business model will be a valuable contribution to our team. Specifically, you will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive the ignition and growth of our PaaS business.
  • Drive sales and customer acquisition, growing our managed services within PaaS
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their requirements
  • Manage the operations of the PaaS business, ensuring that all aspects of the service are delivered to a high standard
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies and business models for PaaS

To be able to contribute we believe that you have:

  • Proven track record in developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth or;
  • Experience in from startup and building a business from idea to market
  • Proven track record in business development, product management, or related roles
  • Deep understanding of the manufacturing industry and its challenges in managing the service business
  • Fluent Swedish in both speaking and writing
  • Experience with Servitization and how Product Life Cycle Management can be the enabler of Products-as-a-Service is a plus
  • Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in managing a team and delivering results in a fast-paced environment, in for example the start-up arena.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and circular business models is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

A few fun facts

This is a full-time position based in your preferred location in Sweden. If you are based in Stockholm, you find us at Norrsken House on Birger Jarlsgatan at least one day a week. If you are not based in Stockholm, you will travel to our beautiful capital city a couple of times every month. We also travel to meet our clients on a weekly to monthly basis.
