Join MeetYu, the startup revolutionizing how people preserve their life's moments! With the app, it's simple and fun to capture short memories and create a meaningful collection. No more cluttered photo galleries or superficial social media posts. Embrace MeetYu's mission to transform everyday memory preservation into a widespread phenomenon and make our platform the one trusted place where people keep their memories and leverage them in new, yet unexplored ways. It’s MeetYu’s vision to be a European alternative to major US or Chinese platforms. 1 in 6 in people are already actively journaling and among younger people the percentage is even higher! MeetYu is entering that market where other memory apps have problems with privacy, ads, paid features, and unappealing design. MeetYu solves it all with user privacy, no ads, full access to features, and unprecedented, innovative ways to leverage memories. Users pay for an optional subscription that enables cloud backup, multiple devices support and generative AI features. In addition, our print shop will generate revenue.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

MeetYu was first developed in September 2022. Today it matured over several MVP iterations with a pilot user base of around 20 people. KTH Innovation supported the project early on with an experienced and certified business coach. Starting in April 2023, MeetYu is part of the KTH Innovation pre-incubator program which includes excellent business coaching, office space and funding opportunities. Furthermore, a leading Nordic IT consultant firm currently provides a cloud expert as part of their impact startup program. Last but not least, we’re proud to say that MeetYu is already available in closed beta in the PlayStore for people that we grant access!

JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a UI/UX Developer that can help us take MeetYu to the next level. You'll have the opportunity to work on various activities. Most importantly that includes creating a great user experience and building a beautiful UI. As UI/UX Designer you’ll also help guide MeetYu’s vision and influence the upcoming features and how current features are realized. With you as UI/UX developer, the goal is to set up a production ready implementation to realize the business model by in the Autumn 2023.
