With increasing growth and evolving business demands at our Brussels office, we have identified the need for senior level experience to help us lead and direct business, and to develop a highly motivated and skilled team. With a particular emphasis on Energy, Environment and Industrial sectors, you will manage key client accounts, and identify and develop new business opportunities.

In general, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and directing key client accounts, including ensuring the delivery of the highest levels of service.
  • Lead marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Leading or contributing to new business proposals and pitches.
  • Actively engaging with colleagues across the Group to develop and implement public affairs strategies across the sector.
  • Actively contributing to the coaching, mentoring, and development of team members.
  • Engaging in external events, including speaking opportunities and producing written material relevant to the sector.

Skills & Requirements

As an indication, we are looking for candidates that bring the following:

  • A Brussels’ insider with at least 15 years’ experience of public affairs, developed in an EU context.
  • Experience gained within a public affairs consultancy is preferable, but a background in trade association or in-house can also be considered.
  • Recognised as a key contributor to the conversation around industrial, energy and environment policies and their application to a range of sectors.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Strong commercial awareness together with experience of budgetary management and capacity planning.
  • A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.
  • An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.
  • A high level of motivation and drive for excellence.
