Consultant/Senior Consultant – Environment & Circular Economy

With an increasing demand from our clients for support on circular economy, chemicals and environment policy issues, we are looking for experienced professionals to help us grow the practice through the management of existing client accounts and, helping our junior consultants to develop.
In general, your responsibilities will include:
- Playing an active role in client teams, including leading meetings and suggesting and implementing improvements for client servicing.
- Implementing and developing innovative client service offerings.
- Leading or contributing to new business proposals and pitches and drafting proposals
- Actively engaging with colleagues across the Group to develop and implement public affairs strategies within the sector.
- Actively contributing to the development of junior colleagues
- Sharing and exchanging ideas with team members.
- Actively supporting the day-to-day functioning of the office
Skills & Requirements
As an indication, we are looking for candidates that bring the following:
• Public affairs experience developed within an EU context.
• Experience gained within a public affairs consultancy is preferable, but a background in trade association or in-house is also considered.
• Knowledge of EU environment policies including chemicals and their application to a range of sectors
• Strong written and oral communication skills, together with experience of applying communications strategy to support public affairs.
• Ability to develop a network of EU and national policy makers and stakeholders in the sector.
• A collaborative and caring approach to working with colleagues in Brussels and across the Group.
• An inquisitive nature with a desire for learning and innovative practices.
• A high level of motivation and drive for excellence.
