We are looking for a passionate and curious UI/UX Designer to join our E-commerce Experience team in Åre.

About the role

As UI Designer at Pierce you are responsible for the visual design of our e-commerce experience, from exploration, ideation, prototyping to designing pixel perfect user interfaces and building our design system. You will create intuitive and appealing interfaces that connects with our customers.

You will work together with teams of designers, developers, testers, content producers, product managers and other stakeholders to discover opportunities and deliver effective solutions on the back of our e-commerce platforms.

The role is part of the E-commerce Experience Team and reports to Head of E-commerce Experience. The team is responsible for improving and maintaining the customer experience on the websites, including Inspire & Discover as well as Checkout & Post-purchase phases of the customer journey. We have a central role in the organization, and the chance to really make a difference.

Pierce is offering a hybrid working model with a mix of remote and office work. For this role, we are looking for someone who will join us in our office in Åre.

Your key activities will include:

  • Create visual design concepts, UI elements and pixel perfect designs to deliver great customer experiences in our e-commerce.
  • Design, test and iterate prototypes to explore ideas.
  • Create and maintain style guides and the Pierce Design System to ensure consistency and an effective way of working.
  • Analyze customer insights and research results to understand customer needs, pain points and where opportunities lie.
  • Collaborate in cross functional teams to turn opportunities and business goals into visually appealing and intuitive designs.

Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in designing user interfaces as a UI/UX designer of e-commerce or digital products.
  • Love good design, have a feel for color, typography, design patterns and an eye for detail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Usability principles and what makes an interface intuitive.
  • Understanding of technical solutions and conversion optimization for website and apps.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for design decisions and customer perspective in cross functional teams and with stakeholders.
  • Positive and creative problem solver who likes to collaborate with other competences to reach the best results.
  • Empathic, passionate about understanding and solving people’s needs.
  • You are self-motivated and take responsibility and ownership of design initiatives.
  • You are curious, and want to continuously develop and learn new things and tools.

Experience from Motorcycle/Motocross industry or environment is always considered a plus at Pierce Group!

2005All started in a garage with two MX enthusiasts who wanted to change the shopping experience for their follow petrolheads.
