Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will work closely with the outsourced accountants, and the finance team in the Holding Company, and will provide support to the wider business by managing daily tasks such as the accounts receivable function as well as working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances, producing key reports and managing necessary accounting functions.
Responsibilities & Key Duties
- Responsible for all country reporting
- Manage and build all financial activities in the country.
- Accounts receivable, issue invoices, post receipts, process expenses, and provide weekly debtor reports to the operational teams (membership & events etc.)
- Manage & assist the outsourced accountants in the preparation of the monthly / yearly accounts, VAT returns, and other taxes.
- Monthly submissions to tax authorities (VAT, Tax, Social Security)
- Manage & assist the outsourced accountants in the preparation of the payment runs, plus manage any emergency payments.
- Assist with other accounting projects as and when needed.
- Cashflow reporting
- Check and review the preparation of the payroll, tax benefits, and contributions report for social security tax authorities and other institutions.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure all revenue is captured and understand future revenues.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures

- Alongside your key duties, you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required in line with business needs.

Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA)
- Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in Hospitality.
- Strong interpersonal skills and strong ability to work within a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of Excel - intermediate to advance.
- Alignment to the company’s brand and social ethos.
- Previous experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Full proficiency in English and Norwegian.
