We are looking for an experienced Industrial Project Manager Recycling to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our passionate recycling team Revolt, and the role will be based at German giga-factory site in Heide and our Germany head office in Hamburg. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and ramping up our recycling activities in Europe.

About the job
As Industrial Project Manager Recycling, you will have ownership of delivering Revolt plant(s) to be established in Germany. You will drive the process of getting the facility and equipment specified, designed, procured, delivered, installed, and commissioned. This involves close cooperation with the Revolt process team, as well as with the German Program team project managing the full giga-factory establishment. Furthermore, you will act as key interface towards potential partners, and manage all parties involved in getting the recycling plant up and running. You are an experienced Project Manager from an industrial environment, preferably having led similar plant establishment projects in previous roles.

About the team
The Revolt team currently consists of about 100 people and is in a strong growth phase, as we are getting prepared for starting operations of our first industrial recycling plant Revolt Ett in Skellefteå in 2023. The team is currently spread across three sites; at the head quarter in Stockholm, at our industrial recycling plant in Skellefteå and at our R&D Pilot plant in Västerås. We are now expanding the Revolt team to our next giga-factory site based in Heide and our German head office in Hamburg, where this role will be based.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project manage the full scope of delivering a fully functional recycling plant, incl. design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases

  • Build and lead a team to deliver on the above scope

  • Act as key link between the Revolt team and the Northvolt Drei Program team, who are driving the giga-factory establishment for cell production in Heide

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have:

  • BSc or MSc degree, in Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Management
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in project management roles
  • Experience working in demanding industrial environments
  • Native/fluent in German
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
