Northvolt has an exciting 6-month internship position within our passionate Validation Projects team in Västerås.
If selected, you will be supporting our Lean Engineer and learn how documentation and standardization are implemented within the automotive industry’s standards for quality management. By joining us, you will support and gain insights into projects across all validation areas. And you will work together with great colleagues to help develop our tools and methods to execute projects within the Test & Validation Group.
About the team
Test & Validation Group has more than 100 team members and covers all test areas from early material development and advanced engineering until mass production. The Test & Validation project management team was established to ensure close alignment within the Test & Validation Group and ensure that we can cover all project tests in the most efficient way.
About you
A great Intern – Lean Engineer (Validation Projects) at Northvolt has a genuine interest in technology and likes to collaborate with others. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow, wants to help us shape the way we organize validation projects, and has a can-do attitude to achieve their goals.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work closely with test engineers and technicians to develop work instructions that are easy to follow to ensure fulfillment of customer requirements and work and environment safety
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the management of the Quality Management System for Test and Validation
Release documents according to the NV Document Management System (Team Center, Confluence, Sharepoint)
Contribute to the documentation of procedures and templates for operational performance improvement and continued certification of automotive quality standards
Support in the documentation of lessons learned process to enable continuous improvement
Give oral presentations with technical content in English
Gain valuable insight into the lithium-ion battery cell development industry
