THE ROLE

We are looking for a Business Process (Senior) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in business process improvement and will be responsible for analyzing our current client’s business processes and identifying areas for improvement. This individual will also be responsible for implementing new business processes to increase efficiency and productivity.

THE WORK

As a Corporate Experience Expert, you will act as a key member of the operational excellence team participating in strategic business decisions, being instrumental in various cross-industry initiatives.

• Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop process improvement plans.
• Develop and implement process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Assess impact of the implemented actions, track progress and identify opportunities for further improvements.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders on new processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments and external partners to ensure that processes are aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and trends in process improvement.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Professional Background

You have:

• A minimum of two years of previous work experience in analyzing, standardizing, and optimizing processes and workflows (BPMN, process mapping, process re-engineering, business analysis, Lean techniques)
• Experience in process mining is a plus
• Ability to analyze and present complex processes and data in a logical, structured, and compelling manner
• Strong presentation and moderation skills as well as very good MS Office skills

Educational background

• A Master’s Degree from a top university
• An MBA or an additional master’s degree is a plus.

Personal Skills

• You are fluent in English as well as French or Dutch, and you have a practical knowledge of the other Belgian national language
• You are solution oriented - analyzing the client’s issues, by gathering, validating, and analyzing requirements, proposing a range of potential solutions and helping them select a solution
• You have very strong interpersonal skills, including, but not limited to, verbal and written communication skills up to CxO level
• The passion to invent what’s next in operational excellence
• A strong proactive, team player who has an entrepreneurial mindset with the dedication and drive to deliver high-quality results
• A logical, analytical, and structured thinker with good relationship management and influencing skills – often influencing senior stakeholder groups
• You can empathize with clients in politically challenging environments
