GL Accountant

We are currently looking for a full time GL Accountant to support our fast growing Finance & Accounting team. As an Account you will be supporting our Polish team in daily accounting operations, cooperate with our colleagues in Sweden and facilitating ongoing accounting processes automation.

Key responsibilities involve, but are not limited to:

  • Posting documents in ERP system (invoices, GL journals)
  • Verification of correctness business trips settlements
  • Reporting to central bank and statistical office
  • G/L Accounts reconciliation
  • Participation in month end closing procedure
  • Participation in yearly financial audit

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience with Polish GAAP is a must
  • Knowledge of Polish Accounting Act is a must
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Polish Accounting or a similar role
  • Degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance or similar
  • Experience of working with medium to large companies, preferred in manufacturing environment
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast moving business
  • Able to work independently and drive issues to conclusion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with knowledge of Excel (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
  • Able to work well with others in a team environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Highly accurate and detail oriented
  • Good command of both, English and Polish
