Are you a Senior Accountant, Financial Controller or equivalent looking for an exciting organisation to continue to develop in? Business Sweden has a unique mandate to help Swedish companies grow global sales and international companies invest and expand in Sweden. We are now looking for a qualified Accountant for a broad and varied role with an emphasis on accounting and also including some group accounting. You will be part of a team of 7 colleagues who all report to the Head of Accounting within the Finance Department, and you will be located in our headquarters in Stockholm. The accounting group at Business Sweden have an important and business close function in a international and dynamic setting.
Areas of responsibilities
- Ensuring quality in financial statements for our foreign offices
- Revaluations and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
- Responsibility for the consolidated accounts including reconciliation of internal balances
- Support/information to the organization in various accounting and legal issues
- Involved in issues concerning VAT and taxes in Sweden and abroad
- Participate in the group's transfer pricing work including legal structure
- Involved in the preparation of the Annual Report
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Responsibility for establishing connections between annual report and local accounting for the legal units in the foreign operations
- Participate and lead various projects within the finance department

Skills & Requirements
- Master of Science in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Several years of experience in qualified accounting work. A suitable background may be to have worked as a Senior Accountant or Head of Accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- You are familiar with reporting according to K3 (or IFRS) and have experience of group accounting. Experience of project accounting is a merit.
- You also have a genuine IT experience and feel comfortable taking on new IT-systems.
- A high level of proficiency in both written and spoken Swedish and English is a requirement.
