Northvolt has launched a Cyber Defence Centre and we are looking for a Security Analyst with the right attitude and personal characteristics to join our passionate Security team.
In joining Northvolt you will play an important part from the very start supporting in building the first large-scale European battery factories! Our factories are built with the latest technology and are highly digitalized, meaning an important job to be done from a security perspective!
We are looking for You who see an opportunity in being part of running and continuously developing our Cyber Defence Centre capabilities. This is a great possibility for You to make a difference and an impact! You will work together with bold and experienced colleagues in Northvolt's Security team, combining cyber and physical security.
As our Security Analyst , you will be our first line of defence against malicious actors, identifying weaknesses and developing detections and robust countermeasures in order to prevent future incidents. You will play a key role in security incident response management and operational security as well as continuously advise how to safeguard Northvolt´s people, information, devices, networks, production and systems.
You will report to the Director of the Cyber Defence Centre at Northvolt.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform operational detection and response tasks in Azure Sentinel, Microsoft 365, AWS and any other solutions managed by Northvolt.
- Initiate and handle investigations from start to finish.
- Define and continuously improve the way of working and proactively work towards continuous improvements of security processes, routines and tools.
- Contribute to other areas of Northvolt Security and the company in general.

Full-time employment, fixed salary and the planned starting date are asap. The role will be going forward including an on-call duty on a rotating schedule.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
-
Professional experience as a Security Analyst or related position involving investigational/intelligence/analytical work.

Experience in Security monitoring and incident response handling.
-
A broad understanding of technology and security.
-
Experience in the areas of threat management, threat intelligence, threat hunting, vulnerability management and/or criminal investigations is a plus.

Proficiency in data analytics, e-discovery and/or digital forensics is a plus.

Proficiency in coding (programming/scripting/software development) is a plus.

Experience in OT security and in the manufacturing industry is a plus.

It’s appreciated if you have a relevant university degree and/or certifications. However, to thrive in this position you should have a keen interest in technology and cyber security and be able to see the wider context of things.
