We are looking for an experienced Manager Quality Control Excellence to join us in our mission to contribute to a greener future. The role is a part of our excellent Quality team based in Skellefteå. By joining us, you will be a key player in establishing and one of the first large scale European battery factories.

About the job

You will be responsible for leading and developing a specialist team driving Quality Control Excellence, including quality control technology, investigations, expansion, calibration and documentation.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and develop a team of Quality Control specialists and Quality Support team members
  • Lead and manage the scouting of new and innovative technologies to characterize intermediate and finished products and processes, track and develop the Quality Control Technology roadmap
  • Manage project plan and development of the Quality laboratories including layout, specifications, support in the RFQ process and execution of installations and commissioning in the ongoing expansion
  • Manage procurement processes, LIMS implementation, documentation management, calibration and validation requirements for Quality

Skills & Requirements

We believe that you have :

  • MSc in e.g. Chemical/Industrial/Mechanical engineering
  • 7+ years experience in quality control role
  • 5+ years experience in leading specialist teams
  • Experienced in developing new mechanical and chemical analytical and control methods
  • Experienced in quality improvement and problem-solving tools such as six sigma, 8D etc
  • Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background
  • Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
  • Highly organized and results driven oints for:

  • Experience and interest in manufacturing industry

  • Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
  • Experience from a multi-cultural environment
