Adapteo Denmark is looking for Sourcing Lead to shape up sourcing and procurement activities in the organization.
This is a newly created job with the opportunity to shape your future job scope. With reference to the Danish Head of Fleet and with workplace at the company’s head office in Greve – you will represent Adapteo in relation to suppliers and subcontractors on the Danish market, and internally represent purchasing and thus have a significant influence on the company’s profitability.
You will be responsible for the procurement strategy and activities in Adapteo DK. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing complete sourcing activities for different categories of materials and subcontracting. This includes both local initiatives, achievements and goals, as well as have a close cooperation on selected projects with the Adapteo Group’s central procurement and category organization.
The work will be executed and managed by you, ensuring the delivery of sourcing projects according to Adapteo's strategy and in line with company's Code of Conduct.
The job position has been newly created and is currently handled by the Head of Fleet, who will give you a thorough handover as well as will act as a back-up when needed.
This is a key position in the organization, in which you will have an experienced and competent colleagues to cooperate with. The company is agile and the company’s culture is characterized by good cooperation and short path from decision to action.
MAIN TASKS
Your main tasks will be:
- Identify potential suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiate frame/price agreements with suppliers of materials and transports, other suppliers and indirect suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Implement procurement strategy development processes in DK.
- Manage implementation and continuous review with local procurement (project managers).
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement actions of DK’s procurement.
- Personally manage relationships to local strategic suppliers.
- Coordinate and cooperate with Group Category Managers located in Sweden.
- Update suppliers’ data in ERP-system (Business Central).
- Support sales on large public tenders.
- Support sales/project managers on maintaining and developing calculation/project follow-up tools.
- Personally carry out procurement of modules.
- Personally create and maintain good relationships with key strategic suppliers.
- Follow-up meetings with current subcontractors and suppliers.
- Reporting on current subcontractors and suppliers.
SUCCESS CRITERIA
- Ensure successful supplier negotiations in DK.
- Ensure local procurement process compliance.
- Together with Head of Fleet ensure that you possess the required skills.
- On an ongoing basis identify new potential subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ongoing cost reductions.
Dine kvalifikationer
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFIACATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
To be able to take on this exiting responsibility – we believe you need the following professional qualifications and educational background:
- You have min. 4-5 years experience from job position in the construction industry – as for instance tender manager, estimator, category manager, procurement manager, product manager or similar positions.
- Profound knowledge about the construction value chain.
- 5-10 years job experience from the building and construction industry.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end procurement process (Plan-to-Strategy, Source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay).
- Proven experience in procurement and sourcing activities.
- Experience with the application of procurement standards (procurement policies, Standard Operating Procedures, etc.)
- Commercial insights.
- Ability to understand technical specifications.
- Experienced in relation to pricing and how contracts are drawn up.
- Skilled within contract management and be able to read and understand suppliers’ contracts.
- Local legal and regulatory environment know-how.
- Know how to describe shapes and needs in framework agreements and to support framework agreements.
- Your education background is not decisive – but you may have a construction technical education or an education as craftsman (carpenter or similar) combined with a commercial education – or a commercial education and have acquired a reasonable understanding of construction through your previous jobs.
LANGUAGE SKILLS, IT SKILLS AND PLACE OF RESIDENCE
- Danish in native language.
- English fluently – orally and in writing.
- Experienced user of Office software.
- Your place of residence is on Zealand.
