Northvolt is an innovative and rapidly growing European battery manufacturing company with a mission to enable the transition to a decarbonised society. We are seeking a highly driven and analytical Corporate Finance Associate to join our team in Stockholm and contribute to building the largest European battery manufacturing company and the world’s greenest battery.
To be successful in this role, you should have 2-5 years' experience working with structured processes and high responsibility, such as private equity, investment banking, management consulting, high-growth startups, or in other corporate finance teams. You should have a successful history of financial modelling, a strong analytical mindset and communication skills, as well as an eye for detail.
At Northvolt, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with many other departments and geographies across the organisation and be part of a high-profile and high-pace international environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead financial modelling of existing and prospective projects within the Northvolt group
- Drive due diligence processes for upcoming debt and equity financing events
- Drive industry research and peer benchmarking exercises
- Drive cross-functional internal workstreams on business cases and financial structures
- Communication to internal and external stakeholders

Specific Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Highly organised and result-driven with the ability to work under high pressure and towards tight deadlines with good time management
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding Microsoft Office skills (particularly MS Excel)
- Strong English written and oral skills
- Has a 'can do' attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit
Education & Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant working experience
- MSc, MBA or similar
- Successful history of financial modelling
Full time employment based in Stockholm.
