Deputy Claims Executive

Due to business expansion, we are looking for a Deputy Claims Executive to join the Claims Team based in our Hong Kong office. The Hong Kong Claims Team handles all types of P&I and H&M claims for our members and clients located in Hong Kong and Asia.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle a busy caseload of P&I claims whilst maintaining good business relationships with our members and clients and will work closely with other teams and offices in Gard. There is a strong focus across claims teams in Gard on working with underwriting and loss prevention to market Gard’s capabilities in Hong Kong and across the wider Asia-Pacific region.

Skills & Requirements
- A degree from university in maritime law or insurance disciplines
- 1-2 years’ experience in handling P&I claims is preferrable, however, fresh graduates will also be considered
- Ability to analyze, structure and organize tasks and work independently
- Solution and result-oriented with an ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform and contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
