Northvolt has an exciting job offer to join our passionate Sustainability team in Stockholm.
Northvolt was founded with the mission to create the World’s Greenest Battery. Fulfilling this mission requires working in a visionary and proactive way to drive the highest standards of sustainability across the entire battery value chain.
We are looking for a Sustainability Project Manager with a passion for sustainability and a drive to make a real impact on the sustainable build-out of the European battery industry. You will be working holistically on Northvolt’s sustainability strategy formulation and execution, ensuring that we are delivering on our promise to produce the world’s greenest battery. You will be reporting to our Head of Sustainability.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Driving the further development and implementation of Northvolt’s sustainability strategy and communication
- Hands-on project management for key strategic projects
- Serving as interface with key internal and external stakeholders such as Northvolt management, investors, customers and industry peers on sustainability related topics, including preparing and presenting decision materials
- Together with Northvolt’s Communications and Management teams, drive key regulatory and political issues on both national and regional level

You are a strong project leader with a strategic mindset and enjoy working cross-functionally and dynamically across the organization.

Skills & Requirements
Education/Experience
- Master’s degree in relevant field
- 5+ years experience related to sustainability and project management from consultancy, industrial company or corporate
Specific Skills/Abilities
- Excellent project management skills
- Strategic and commercial mindset
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to serve as a good representative and ambassador internally and externally
