Digital Ad Tech Lead

We are looking for a Digital Ad Tech Lead to join our Sales Operations team to deliver, manage and support all online advertising campaigns on our marketplaces DBA and Bilbasen in Denmark.
You will be responsible for assistance and guidance to our campaign management in executing our marketing campaigns and evaluating our marketing performance metrics. A great part of the role will involve cross-disciplinary collaborating with the internal teams. In addition, you will have extensive ad operations and online measurement knowledge, comfort working with marketing and production deadlines, ability to work independently and willingness to learn new programs/systems.
Our Sales Operations team
Our department is on a growth journey and our Sales Operations team consists today of 8 employees, in both our offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen, having high ambitions striving for a fun and inclusive environment. We now expand the team and this position refers to Head of Sales Operations.
Primary work assignments
Serve as an expert on Digital Operations, especially when integrating partner technologies, including ad tracking, serving and ad management within platforms.
Accountable for campaign management across multiple accounts in various markets. Assists the implementation, scheduling, and rotation of ads within online advertising campaigns.
Regularly review reporting to provide highlights and potential issues. Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
Be the initial point of contact for troubleshooting issues; Managing and resolving issues as they arise, such as the discrepancy between reporting systems.
Contact with vendors and agencies for tracking, campaign setup, deliverables, and maintenance communications.
Test ad creatives to ensure they comply with individual site specifications.
QA or troubleshoot 3rd party tags.
Stay current on key developments in the rapidly changing digital advertising space and apply that knowledge to recommend or build new processes that support changing needs.
Create and maintain digital operations processes, recommend updates and efficiencies.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to discuss campaign setup (i.e., KPI goals), execution, QA, troubleshooting, and optimization success.
What you bring to the role
We imagine that you have:
In-depth knowledge of the various marketing channels and technologies.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with outside vendors with innovative and responsive recommendations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners.
Experience with executing or supporting growth/acquisition digital marketing campaigns in an Ad Operations role.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript related to ad serving and third-party ad tags.
Experience with third-party ad serving technologies and Integrations with 3rd Party Partners.
Familiarity with tagging technologies, such as Google Tag Manager, and ability to learn their end to end implementation and QA process.
Familiar with SQL, ETL.
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with Matillion, Tableau and Amplitude.
Strong knowledge of the ad serving eco-system (demand and supply platforms, programmatic and insertion orders).
Strong understanding of the ad serving KPI’s. Furthermore we expect that you have experience in using Google Analytics and/or other marketing analytics reports against delivery and KPI objectives.
